Broken Reflections. Broken Worth

Continuing our series, "In His Image," Senior Leader, Duncan Smith, shared an incredible message on broken reflections and broken worth. God created us in His image and said that this was very good. We were created by good to do good and be good, so that we can spread His goodness. As we read through the story of Cane and Abel in Genesis 4, we see how Cane’s inability to look to his Heavenly Father to find his true identity caused him to act out of his inherited sinful nature to kill his brother. When we look to our Heavenly Father, our Creator, jealousy and comparison won’t overtake us, because He looks at us with eyes of love to tell us how fearfully and wonderfully made He created us to be. When we look into the eyes of our Heavenly Father, we can in turn look at our brothers and sisters with eyes of love and celebrate our differences.
