Senior Leaders
Duncan and Kate Smith are revivalists who carry the fire of God's love and power all over the world. Together, they serve as the Presidents of Catch The Fire World ↗, a global movement of revival churches, missions, and ministries, birthed out of the Toronto Revival ↗. They are the Senior Leaders of Catch The Fire Church in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, a vibrant, growing church full of the love and presence of God.
They have a passion to plant and cultivate supernatural churches, ministries, and missions in multiple expressions and multiple generations. Wherever they go, the Holy Spirit does extraordinary miracles, as the love of the Father and the grace of Jesus are poured out to the world.
Aaron & Jess Ninaber
Lead Pastors
Aaron and Jess Ninaber serve as the Lead Pastors of Catch The Fire Raleigh and carry a deep conviction that the local church is God’s primary strategy to transform cities. They are passionate about building a church that is wholeheartedly devoted to God, Spirit-filled, and anchored in Truth and The Word of God.
Both began in youth ministry, where they spent years discipling the next generation and cultivating communities marked by hunger for God. That foundation still shapes everything they do. They believe faith should be vibrant, honest, and fully surrendered, not cultural Christianity, but real discipleship that changes the way we live.
Aaron was born and raised in Canada, and Jess is British-Canadian. Now both American, they bring a global perspective and a deep love for the Church in every nation. They celebrate diversity and unity. Their ministry is marked by a commitment to the depth of the Word of God, the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit, and the power of God that heals, restores, and awakens hearts.
They are especially passionate about raising a worshiping church. A people who prioritize purity over performance, faithfulness over fame, and passion over perfection. They long to see a generation that burns with first love for Jesus, walks in holiness without shame, and carries authentic revival into everyday life.
Aaron and Jess are parents to four beautiful children and are committed to building a home and a church that reflect the same culture of honor, joy, and devotion to Jesus.
