Scripture
Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Colossians 3:13
Forgiveness is a cornerstone of our faith. Jesus forgave us fully freely and undeservedly and He calls us to do the same for others. Forgiveness is not about excusing wrongdoing or denying the pain caused; it is about releasing the offense and entrusting justice to God. Holding onto unforgiveness creates a barrier between us and God as well as in our relationships with others. When we forgive we experience freedom healing and restoration. Forgiveness doesn't always happen instantly—it's often a process—but it is a necessary step toward living in the fullness of God's grace.
Reflection
Are you holding onto unforgiveness toward someone? How can releasing it bring freedom and healing?
Prayer
Lord thank You for forgiving me completely. I choose to release any bitterness or unforgiveness in my heart. Help me to forgive as You have forgiven me and bring healing and restoration to my relationships. Amen.
