Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Romans 12:1
Surrender is at the heart of worship. To surrender means to give up control and trust God with every area of your life—your plans your desires and even your struggles. Paul's call to offer ourselves as living sacrifices is a daily ongoing decision to place God first in all things. When we surrender we allow God to shape us and align our lives with His purpose. This act of trust opens the door for us to experience His power and His guidance. It's not always easy as we naturally want to hold tightly to what we value but God is faithful to care for us when we release control to Him.

Prayer
Father I lay down my plans my fears and my desires before You. Teach me to trust You fully knowing that Your plans for me are good. Help me to live as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to You. I want my heart and life to reflect Your glory. Amen.
